An unforgettable fresher’s party was organised at Yamuna Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Gadholi, Yamuna Nagar on 3rd March 2023 to welcome new faces of first-year BDS students (batch2022-23) the theme of the party was “NEO-FIESTA,2K23” meaning a new festival. As the name speaks for itself, it was a warm welcome for the freshers.
Mr Arjun Singh Johal, CEO, of Yamuna Group of Institutions, graced the occasion with his presence as chief guest.
The program commenced with the traditional lamp lightening ceremony along with blessings of Saraswati Vandana, Followed by an amalgamation of beautiful cultural events including a stunning ramp walk, traditional folk, western and fusion dances and vocal performances,
Fun and frolic reached the next level when seniors organised games for their juniors.
Finally, from the skilled and talented contestants, Dimpy was crowned as Miss Fresher and K C Lalthazuala as Mr. Fresher while Muskan grabbed the title of Miss Talented and Tarth Tagar as Mr. Talented.
Dr Sushant Garg, Principal, YIDSR. Dr Ruchi Bindal, Vice Principal, YIDSR and Dr Mahinder Yadav, Principal YIN, crowned the winners and honoured them with prizes.
Such an amazing and memorable event could not be even successful without the help of Dr. Sunil Shekhar, Mrs. Anu Miglani, Dr. Kaveri, Dr. Safiya and Miss Rajandeep Kaur, members of the organising committee, BDS 2nd year students and participants.
The event ended with Cake Cutting Ceremony & dance on the beats of DJ music.
