Mechanical Engineering (ME)

The Department of Mechanical Engineering includes rich academic, research, administrative, and professional experience such as with National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and reputed public and private Universities in India. The Professors are also regarded well by their peer bodies and have been conferred lifetime Fellowships along with lifetime Memberships in various professional bodies. 

Close monitoring of the progress of the B.Tech. students are ensured by a team of Research Associates and Teaching Assistants employed in the department. All the labs are staffed with technical staff having vast experience in the Industry or with labs in top academic Institutions, who assist students in performing practicals and experiments. Professional excellence, Self-Discipline, Personal attitude, and all-around development of students are encouraged by the Department throughout their stay. 

There is an Automobile lab equipped with all facilities to provide hands-on experience on an Automobile engine. The student has to work on various activities like dismantling overhauling and assembling an engine which is an example of the way in which education is imparted to the students. 

The department of mechanical engineering motivates and prepares students to participate in national and international events.
