As already said, as nursing has developed into an advanced discipline and profession, the role of a nurse is constantly changing. These changes are a result of expanding medical and nursing practice, emerging challenges in different aspects of health care, consumer demand, and technological advancements. The creation of more advanced nursing roles adds depth and offers opportunities to make nursing even more exciting.
The nurse understands the importance of patient-centered care which means that the patient has an active voice in her or his care. The nurse works with other disciplines, such as physicians or therapists, to ensure the patient gets the best possible care. B. Sc. (Nursing)
BASIC NURSING DEMOSTRATION LAB : Fully equipped with articles for basic procedures in Nursing like BP Apparatus, Oxygen Cylinder, bedpan, Urinals, Feeding Cup, Hot water bottles and other rubber good and linen, a well established Nutrition Lab. Good facilities for Midwifery procedure, etc.
CLINICAL TEACHING : Supervised clinical teaching facilities are provided in CLR Multispecialty Hospital like general surgery, medicines, Orthopedic surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology, Plastic Surgery, Obstetrics Gyane OT, CCU, ICU, Emergency, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation OPD, Community Medicine, Dentistry, Mobile Van for dental care, etc.

ELIGIBILITY
A. The applicant must have passed 10+2 exam of board of school education Haryana or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE) with minimum 45% in aggregate marks (40% marks for reserved category). Candidates with 50% or more will be preferred.
B. Minimum Age limit: 17 years before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
C. Candidate must be medically fit and medical fitness certificate shall have to be produced at the time of admission.
The admission to B.Sc. Nursing Program is made on the basis of the CET test conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
The Management Quota Seats (50% of the sanctioned intake) for Nursing is filled as per the following criteria in order of preference:
1. CET merit ranking conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
2. Merit based on percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry , Biology & English.
AGE: Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years. There is no age bar for candidates with ANM/LHV.
EDUCATION: –
• 10+2 passed preferable Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks. Candidates with 50% or more will be preferred.
• 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/ English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream only from recognized Board under CBSE / ICSE/ SSCE / HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
• 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi with 40% marks.
• Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
• Student shall be medically fit.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science Examination or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
The admission to GNM course will be made on the basis of merit list prepared on percentages of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidate having higher marks shall be given priority.
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
• The minimum educational requirements shall be 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core / English Elective or Science or Health Care Science – Vocational stream only from recognized Board.
• Student shall be medically fit female candidate and a bonafied resident of Haryana.
• Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
• Student shall be admitted once in a year.
The admission to ANM course will be made on the basis of merit list prepared on percentages of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidate having higher marks shall be given priority.

FACILITIES
Lecture Halls adequate in number, spacious and air-conditioned, well equipped with modern teaching aids.
Students are acquainted with various models of the human body. This lab is prepared to reinforce the theoretical knowledge about Human anatomy & Physiology with the help of articulated skeletal, various bones, models & charts.
This lab is used in order to infuse confidence in students and make them learn effective communication skills. This lab ensures the students learn the home visiting bag techniques. It enables them to practice community health nursing while providing family health care at the door step of the clients using modified home visiting kits. The lab is equipped with updated audio-visual equipment to practice health teaching in the community. Maternal and Child Health Nursing lab is designed to help the learner to reinforce the learning about normal physiology of pregnancy, midwifery, obstetrics & child health nursing. The lab is equipped with various manikins, models, palpation modules, birthing simulators & charts to develop hands-on skills under the continuous guidance & supervision of expert clinical instructors.
This lab is designed to assist the nursing students to acquire a wide range of knowledge of dietetics in Indian settings & to understand the concepts of “Nutrition, Health & Disease” while planning the diet for individuals and groups in the hospital and in the community.
This lab is organized to learn basic and critical nursing care with the help of manikins, simulators, models & modules (a variety of adult & pediatric). The lab helps to develop the life form absolutely realistic revolutionary nursing skills through “hands-on training” under continuous supervision & guidance by expert teaching faculties.
Our college has its own computer lab which is meant exclusively for nursing students. This lab is divided into two sections. One section is for ANM & GNM students, while the other one is used for B.Sc. students. The lab has 60 computers in it. Students are continuously encouraged to use the computer lab intensively. Practical knowledge of computers is a must in the current times. This lab is used by the students to practice the application of computers in the field of nursing.
Watching the slides, videos, and animations of difficult concepts and systems makes the learning curve less steep. The lab is equipped with various electronic devices for effective teaching & learning such as LED projectors, Over Head projectors, TV, Multimedia Player, etc. The purpose of AV Aids is to make the learning interesting and delightful.
Nursing College Library and Learning resource center is an invaluable resource for students, researchers, and faculties of Nursing education. It has the most complete collection of text & reference books, audio-video material, films, charts, professional journals, and Magazines. It is a most lively place in the college providing a comfortable and readers-friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes scholarship. The fully air-conditioned and wi-fi-enabled library and learning resource center provides access to the best of nursing-related resources through its acquisition of various books, journals, online databases consisting of scholarly and nursing education and service-related content. The learning resource center is a coordinating point between the faculty and students which is supported by highly skilled and trained library and information professionals.
Nursing College has spacious well furnished, air-conditioned, and soundproof classrooms with a facility of wall-mounted LCD projectors, which helps in making the live and inspiring learning environment for the students.
