Dr. S.R. Mediratta is a Professor and Director General of Yamuna Group of Institutions. He is B. Tech., PG Diploma & Ph.D. He has more than 48 years of experience in Research, Academics and Industry. He has presented 175 papers at National & International Conferences and his 54 papers have been published in National and 13 papers in International journals. He has won several awards including National Metallurgist Award from Ministry of Steel for outstanding contributions in product development; Vasvik Industrial Research Award for outstanding contributions in Material Science & Engineering, Distinguished Alumnus Award from IT, Bombay, Jewel of India Award by Indian Solidarity Council, New Delhi and Rashtriya Vidya Gaurav Gold Medal Award by International Institute of Education & Management, Best Citizen of India Award by India Publishing House, Lifetime Achievement Award, by Governor of Punjab & Administrator Union Territory, Chandigarh and Noble Son of India’s Award for outstanding contributions in profession and technical education. He has guided several Ph.D and M. Tech Thesis.
