Oral and Maxillofacial Department

It is the specialty of dentistry which includes the diagnosis, surgical and adjunctive treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region.

Oral & maxillofacial surgery dept is equipped with all latest instruments and equipment.  In the dept. all type of treatments including simple to complicated surgical extractions, maxillofacial trauma management, head and neck tumors surgeries, cysts management &, implants etc. are done.  The dept. has one minor operation theatre for minor surgical procedure. Dept. also has operation theatre for major surgeries under general anaesthesia in medical hospital.

Department is taking all the theory classes over power point with interactive sessions. Regular tests, projects, work on study models helps the students to better understand the subject. Department has sufficient numbers of patients for students. Students learn all their patient work under the guidance of consultants.
